vAT refund question

Question

Previous month I had to withdraw something from 300 euros in vAT (below the amount for refunds), this month I have to pay back something from 303 euros in vAT. Does this mean that I only have to pay back 3 euros in vAT this month? Or how does this work?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes sir! If you haven't claimed it back, it actually stays there as a kind of credit. Almost like a savings account, only it doesn't earn interest ;)

So if you have to pay now, first settle what was still in credit.

You can also check this via myminfin. Log in to myminfin under your own name and you will have access to professional applications (last tab, if I'm not mistaken). There you can always check your actual vAT amount. This is sometimes useful if you have had a credit amount for several quarters in a row, as you can find a summary of this there.Thank you for your answer! It's all clear now :D
